Henry is born in Monmouth Castle in Wales. He is the eldest son of Henry, Earl of Derby (later King Henry IV), and Mary de Bohun
July 21, 1403
English Forces in Wales:
16 year old Henry joined forces with his father to fight Henry "Hotspur" Percy in the Battle of Shrewsbury. He is wounded by an arrow that stuck in his face.
March 20, 1413
Death of Henry IV:
Henry's father (King Henry IV) dies after an extended illness.
April 9, 1413.
Coronation:
Henry is crowned at Westminster Abbey and becomes King Henry V of England.
August 12, 1415
The War in France:
Henry and his army sail for France.
August 18, 1415
The Siege of Harfleur:
Henry's forces begin the siege of the fortress at Harfleur, capturing it on September 22, 1415.
October 25, 1415
The Battle of Agincourt:
At the Battle of Agincourt, Henry leads his forces to an unexpected English victory against the numerically superior French army.

2nd Assault on France:

Henry and his forces begin the Siege of Meaux in France. Henry becomes ill while fighting this long battle, which takes place during the winter months.

Catherine gives birth to their son, Henry VI.

Death:
